UPDATE: GRAFITTI ON THE BRIDGE

ON AUGUST 25, 2008 WE SHOWED A PICTURE OF THE GRAFFITI ON THE BRIDGE ON THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF SHANTOK POND. TO DATE (AUGUST 31, 2008) THE GRAFFITI IS STILL THERE. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SCHEDULE GOING OUT THERE AND TAKING A SPRAY CAN OF BLACK PAINT TO COVER UP THE GRAFFITI? WOULD ANYONE IN THE GOVERNMENT CARE TO COMMENT?

ON THE STORY OF THE BRIDGE AND RETAINING WALLS AT SHANTOK BROOK, JUST BELOW THE DAMN/WATERFALL, THINGS ARE MOVING RIGHT ALONG. IN FACT ON LABOR DAY, MONDAY SEPTEMBER 1, 2008 WE FOUND THE CREW OUT THERE WORKING ON PUTTING IN THE RAILROAD TIES WALKWAY. THE BRIDGE IS NOW IN PLACE ON THE FOUR BASES. WHEN COMPLETED IT WILL FIT IN LIKE IT WAS ALWAYS THERE. A GREAT JOB.

EDITORIAL FOOTNOTE: ON A RECENT WALK THROUGH SHANTOK WE FOUND THE GRAFITTI ON THE BRIDGE WAS FIXED. GOOD JOB PUBLIC WORKS. .
