COUNCIL OF ELDER PROBABLY NOT GOING TO GAMING CONVENTION

IT WAS REPORTED TO BROKENWING EDITORIALS, THAT THE COUNCIL OF ELDERS MEMBER WHO HAD PLANNED TO GO TO A GAMING CONVENTION IN LAS VEGAS, HAS SAID HE PROBABLY WILL NOT GO.

HE SUPOSSSEDLY SAID, THAT HE DID NOT THINK ANYONE WOULD BE GOING ANYWHERE, ANYTIME SOON, THE WAY THINGS ARE. WHEN ASKED ABOUT IT, HE SUPPOSEDLY AGREED THAT WITH THE WAY THINGS ARE THAT TRIBAL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS PROBABLY NEED TO BE MORE FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE.

HE SUPPOSEDLY STATED THAT HE DID NOT SEE THE ECONOMY TURNING AROUND UNTIL EARLY NEXT SPRING.

I BELIEVE WHAT THIS COUNCIL OF ELDER IS DOING IS A VERY GOOD THING. HE IS PUTTING THE TRIBE FIRST. HE IS CONCERNED FOR THE TRIBE AND OUR FINANCIAL SITUATION. AGAIN GOOD JOB COUNCILOR.

To bad this Councilor did not think about his fiscal responsibility before having it questioned by you!! I bet if this were left unsaid he would have been off to Vegas!!

Keep up the good work Bill. This forum is food for thought.
