PART III KEN DAVISON GOES TO COURT

ON MONDAY NOVEMBER 10, 2008, AT 11;00 A.M., THE COURT CASE OF KEN DAVISON VS. THE MOHEGAN TRIBAL ELECTION COMMITTEE GETS UNDER WAY.

AS TRIBAL MEMBERS, WE SHOULD BE INTERESTED IN THE OUTCOME OF THIS CASE. KEN DAVISON CLAIMS HIS BALLOT WAS A LEGAL BALLOT AND WAS NOT COUNTED. HE BELIEVES THE LAW VIOLATES THE MOHEGAN CONSTITUTION. IT IS ABOUT WHETHER THE ELECTION LAW REQUIRING TRIBAL MEMBERS TO VOTE FOR ALL THE POSITIONS ON THE BALLOT TO HAVE THEIR BALLOT COUNT, IS TO BE DECIDED.

BROKENWING EDITORIALS ENCOURAGES ALL TRIBAL MEMBERS, WHETHER YOU AGREE WITH THE ORDINANCE OR NOT, COME AND WATCH THE COURT CASE IN ACTION. SEE YOU THERE.
